PM's MessageEndless good wishes to all Shiva devotees on the beginning of the sacred and holy Shri Amarnath Yatra! May this journey for the divine darshan of Baba Barfani bring happiness, prosperity, good fortune, and excellent health into all your lives. Jai Baba Barfani!
Meaning of Vāgbuddhicittakaraṇaiś Ca Tapobhir Ugraiḥ
I daily worship the merciful Lord Amarnath, whose nature cannot be comprehended through speech, intellect, mind, the senses, or even through severe penances, who is easily attainable through devotion and who is the refuge of those who bow before Him.

Commentary
This verse presents Lord Amarnath as both transcendent and deeply accessible. Speech, intellect, mind, the senses, and even intense austerities are said to be insufficient for fully grasping his true form. That limitation is important: the divine is not reduced to an object that can be mastered by cleverness, argument, or discipline alone. Yet the same Lord is bhaktibhāvasulabha, easily approachable through the feeling of devotion, and śaraṇaṃ natānām, the refuge of those who bow with humility. The verse therefore balances awe with intimacy. It asks the devotee to recognize the limits of ordinary knowing while trusting the transformative power of surrender, reverence, and daily worship. In the context of the Amarnath Yatra, this becomes a prayer for pilgrimage itself: the journey is not only to a sacred place, but toward a softened heart, steadier faith, and the blessings of well-being, prosperity, and grace.
