Commentary
This verse is part of the famous 'Charaiveti' verses from the Aitareya Brahmana. It features Indra encouraging Rohita to keep moving forward. The sun is cited as the ultimate example of industriousness—it never rests, never tires, and its eternal motion is the source of its glory. The message is simple: those who stop, perish; those who keep moving, attain the 'honey' (madhu) of success and fulfillment. The shared meaning presents the Sun as illuminating the world, while the line itself says na māmāra na jīryati — he neither dies nor grows old. The verse's argument is that ceaseless motion is what frees one from decay.
